What actually happens when you open it
Marquee follows the six stages of a sponsorship program in order. You do not have to know which stage you are in — the roadmap works that out from your workspace and tells you what to do next. Here is the whole thing, start to finish.
Audit — what do I own, and what is it worth?
You start with an inventory. Most rights holders list 20 to 30 assets and are surprised by how many they had never thought of as sellable — a coin toss, a fixture-release moment, the wi-fi landing page at the venue.
Then every asset gets valued: a tangible media value from verified reach, intangible multipliers for exclusivity and broadcast carry-through, and a confidence band backed by comparable Australian deals. The workings are printed alongside the number, which is what makes it survive a CMO reading it.

- ToolValuation Copilot prices it with a defensible method
- ToolPricing Benchmarker compares you to the market
| Tangible media value | A$132,700 |
| Broadcast carry-through | +18% |
| Category exclusivity | +9% |
| Audience quality | +6% |
| Rotation dilution | −12% |
Prospect — who should I be calling?
The matchmaker takes your audience profile and your unsold inventory and ranks brand categories against them — by audience overlap, by whether the category is open in your market, and by whether the brand has a live reason to act this financial year.
It also tells you who you cannot approach. If an existing partner holds a category lock-out, the prospect is flagged before you waste a meeting on it.

Pitch — how do I ask?
The proposal writer does not fill in a template. It maps the brand's stated objectives onto specific assets you own, prices the package, proposes activation concepts, and writes the measurement plan you will be held to.
When they push back — and they will — the objection coach rehearses the answer, including the concessions you can afford and the ones that will cost you every future negotiation.

- ToolClause Explainer translates the contract into plain English
“We don't have budget this year”
This is almost never about money. It is about priority, timing, or the fact that they cannot yet picture what they would get.
If it is genuinely money: do not discount the headline number — it devalues the asset and every future negotiation. Shorten the term, reduce the package rather than the price, or move to quarterly payments.
Activate — am I delivering what I promised?
Deliverables are generated from the contract, so nothing lives only in someone's head. Each one has an owner, a due date and an evidence locker. Photos and screenshots go in as you go, not in a panic the week before the review.
Missed deliverables are the single biggest predictor of a partner not renewing, so the board flags them early and loudly.
- ToolActivation Ideator generates concepts that fit the asset and the budget
Measure — can I prove it worked?
Delivered against contracted, on every measure you agreed. The report narrator turns that data into commentary a sponsor will actually read — including the parts that did not go well, because a report that only contains good news is not believed.
Six templates, branded with your own logo and colours, exporting to a PDF your board can read without a login.
- ToolReport Narrator writes the commentary from your data
Renew — will they come back, and for how much more?
Every partner carries a health score built from fulfilment, engagement and delivered value. A partner drifting towards non-renewal shows up months before they tell you, which is the only point at which you can still do something about it.
For the ones performing well, the renewal case builder models the uplift you can justify and, just as importantly, tells you how to present it so it does not read as a price rise.
- ToolRenewal Case Builder models the ask and the fallback
The twelve tools
Each one takes your real workspace data as input and produces something you can send, save or defend.
Nothing has to leave your building unreviewed
Anything a tool generates can be sent to a Marquee consultant before you act on it. They approve it, annotate it, or rewrite it — and you see exactly what changed and why.
That review loop is the difference between a generated document and a piece of advice.
